At Clever Tally, operated by Gifted Fox LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds and cancellations.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with Clever Tally Pro, we offer a full refund within 14 days of your most recent subscription payment.
1.1 Eligibility
To qualify for the 14-day money-back guarantee:
- You must cancel within 14 days of your most recent billing period start date
- The refund is processed automatically when you cancel — no separate request needed
- Refunds are not available after the 14-day window has passed
1.2 How to Get a Refund
Refunds are handled automatically through the cancellation flow:
- Log in to your Clever Tally account
- Go to Settings
- Click "Manage Subscription"
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
If you cancel within 14 days of your billing period start date, your refund is issued automatically to your original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email with refund details. No need to email us separately.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your Clever Tally Pro subscription at any time through your account settings using the same steps described in Section 1.2 above.
2.1 What Happens After Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- If within 14 days of your billing period start: a full refund is issued automatically
- You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged again
- After your billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free tier
- Your data (invoices and clients) will be preserved
- You can resubscribe at any time
3. Refunds After 14 Days
After the initial 14-day guarantee period, we generally do not offer refunds for the following reasons:
- Change of mind
- Lack of use of the service
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal
3.1 Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refunds outside the 14-day period on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical issues that prevented you from using the service
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service outages lasting more than 48 hours

4. Pro-Rated Refunds
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months of service. When you cancel, you maintain access until the end of your current billing period.
5. Free Tier
The Free tier of Clever Tally does not involve any charges, so no refunds apply.
6. Billing Disputes
6.1 Unauthorized Charges
If you notice an unauthorized charge on your account:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Provide details of the charge in question
- We will investigate and resolve the issue within 5 business days
6.2 Duplicate Charges
If you are accidentally charged twice for the same subscription period, we will immediately refund the duplicate charge.
6.3 Failed Transactions
If a transaction fails but you are still charged, the charge will typically be reversed by your bank within 3-5 business days. If not, contact us for assistance.
7. Downgrade to Free Tier
If you downgrade from Pro to Free tier:
- No refund is provided for the remaining time in your billing period
- You will maintain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
- Your account will automatically switch to Free tier at the end of the period
8. Payment Method Updates
If your payment method fails during renewal:
- We will notify you via email
- You will have 7 days to update your payment method
- If not updated, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to Free tier
- No refund is provided in this scenario
9. Refund Processing Time
Refunds within the 14-day guarantee are processed automatically at the time of cancellation:
- The refund is initiated immediately when you cancel within the 14-day window
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method
- It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank
For refunds outside the 14-day window (exceptional circumstances per Section 3.1), contact us at [email protected]. These are reviewed and processed within 5-7 business days of approval.
10. Chargeback Policy
If you file a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us first:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- We may dispute the chargeback if we believe the charge was legitimate
- Your account may be permanently terminated if the chargeback is deemed fraudulent
We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before filing a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.
11. Service Termination by Clever Tally
If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service:
- No refund will be provided
- You will lose access to your account immediately
- You may be prohibited from creating a new account
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Clever Tally after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Currency and Exchange Rates
All prices and refunds are processed in USD. If your bank converts the transaction to another currency, any exchange rate differences or foreign transaction fees are your responsibility and will not be refunded.
14. Taxes
If applicable taxes were charged on your original payment, those taxes will be included in the refund according to local tax laws.
